COVID 19 - Special Measures Coronavirus
Eguzki B&B was closed between the 14th March and 11th May 2020 in compliance with the State of Alarm. We took advantage of this time to adapt our services and put in new safety measures, with an additional outside seating area in the garden. We are also now operating a contactless check-in process and will continue to give local advice and tips but by email and social networks as far as possible.
Breakfast will be served to your table in either the dining-room or in one of the two outside terraces, with every attention to hygiene and protective measures. A tick-list menu will be provided the night before to indicate breakfast preferences, since our usual self-service buffet will not be possible. We will, however, make every effort to provide the same high standard of breakfast, with homemade bread, pastries, yogurts and jams, freshly squeezed orange juice and eggs from our own hens. Please advise in advance in case of any allergies or food intolerances.
We are sorry but the option of hiring the three rooms and use of the kitchen & sitting-room will continue to be unavailable for the moment, but you are welcome to use the outdoor terraces at any time and dining-room with your partner/ own group.

Cleaning & Hygiene Protocols
Eguzki B&B has been awarded the Spanish quality seal for tourism SICTED, and as such we already operate a strict routine of cleanliness and hygiene. This has now been extended to include the new guidelines for dealing with Covid19 from the Spanish Health Ministry and Institute for Quality in Tourism. These guidelines include the following measures which we would like to share with our guests for their peace of mind.
Covid-secure establishment - check-in will be done in advance by email and tips and advice on our local area given in digital form where possible. Eguzki B&B staff wear the appropriate level of protection in all reception/administration, cleaning or kitchen tasks.
Rooms will be left 24hrs between guests and a thorough clean and disinfection carried out on check-out, using virucidal products as authorised by the Health Ministry. The cleaning regime includes washing-down and spraying floors, furniture, walls and ceiling beams. Bed linen will be changed every four days, and spare towels are available in bathroom cupboards for your convenience. Staff will not enter rooms at any time during your stay other than to clean and change beds every 4 days. Bed linen and towels are washed at 60º in an industrial laundry.
Breakfast - a menu of options will be provided so you can choose your preference of timetable, table and products. Breakfast will be served to your table, at either one of the two outside terraces or inside in the dining room, at the time requested so as not to coincide with other guests. Tables and surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected between sittings.
